Travelling from Barcombe Cross to Barcombe Mills the view opens out to the South Downs. Having gone this way many times I wanted to also show some seasonal progression, so opted for a series of 3 prints. No.2 is May.
Woodblock (plywood); each one hand printed on Conqueror laid vellum block printing paper with black linseed oil based relief printing ink, then hand tinted with watercolour.
